Ristorante Pizzeria Zum Tierpark in Birkenheide

I ordered today for three people to pick it up. We had Cordon Bleu, Jägerschnitzel and Schweitzer Schnitzel with French fries and salad. The food was ready on time and tasted very good. The landlord even gave me a box for transport and there was even an ice cream for free for everyone. Top performance, gladly again.

Very nice and attentive service. The food (pizza, mussels, cordon bleue) was delicious and the prices were okay. And, to the surprise, a dessert. They like to give 5 stars.

We cannot agree with the previous speakers who criticized the Ristorante. Maybe you should think about whether it is up to you how you are treated. We found the food and the service to be great. ? We'd love to come back

Well ... Corona concept failed. If a waitress with a face shield bends over a guest who is sitting at the dining table without a face mask, where is the protection for the guests? Constantly riding around on the 10 people per table although these people see each other almost all the time, but then such a lack of a person unknown to me (service) ... Not possible at all! The food was good, the mushrooms not out of the tin, the price for food and drink was OK

We were guests there in the beer garden at noon today. The ambience is Mediterranean, the tables are spaced appropriately. The landlady and conditions were friendly. The menu left nothing to be desired. For example schnitzel and fish menu, as well as chanterelle menu and other dishes were on the menu. The food, prepared quickly, was excellent. The kitchen was flexible, requests for changes in the composition of the side dishes were met without any problems. What more could you want ....... ?

The food is actually quite good, but it is a cheek for a spritzer - which already costs 4.50 euros - to take 0.30 cents surcharge for sweet soda! The tables were totally glued together in the free of the food and drink leftovers of the predecessors. A simple wipe when clearing should be in there!

Best pizza far and wide, service sometimes takes some getting used to. Otherwise nice that there is the "shop"!

It's a shame that you can't give zero stars, because even one is too many. Due to the current corona situation, it should be a matter of course that appropriate signs for mouth protection are attached in front of the restaurant, which was never the case. 1.5m between the tables are also not observed and the staff only wear face signs. In addition, the boss turns you on so quickly when you first enter without a face mask (which actually happened unintentionally). Ordering took ages and even waiting for the invoice in vain. Only after triple demand and the statement to go, the bill was finally brought. All in all, employee behavior is absolutely impossible. We will not be going back!

We have often been there after going for a walk and took some food with us. The staff looks very friendly to us and you are served quickly. The food is usually in 20min. ready unless it's a little more busy, but you can understand that. So far, everything we got was always delicious and it was plentiful. Prices are therefore also reasonable. However, it is not exactly nice to sit in the restaurant. For that next door is a great zoo and the forest right in front of the door, you could make it a little nicer again.

The zoo has been the goal of our family for almost 40 years. First with the daughters, then with all three grandchildren. It's always a relaxed afternoon. The restaurant is also recommended.

I dedicate the one star to the two ladies in the service, the kitchen definitely deserves none! Wrong food and it simply cannot be that one gets his food at the table and the others only after the first has been finished for a long time!

Unfortunately one can not give 0 stars. Service was a disaster. The young man had no desire and that one also noted him. Simply addressed with YOU, grabbed over the plate and then let us wait another 35 minutes to pay although no more to operate there was. man is just rather disappeared from the scene. The food was anything but good. Not recommended !!!!!!

A simple ambience invites you into the dining room, in summer the spacious beer garden. Parking just a few meters from the door, no problem. The prices are fair, the portions good and the food tastes good.

Visit from November 15, 2019 The four of us had reserved a table and were warmly welcomed on arrival. We quickly got the meal cards and were asked directly about the drinks. These came promptly and the food order was taken immediately. The dishes were accompanied by a small side salad on lettuce, coleslaw, carrot salad, cucumber and tomato and a small portion of tsaziki with olives. Homemade garlic baguette was served with it. Both were simple but very well done. My main course was a rump steak with onions and fried potatoes. The degree of cooking was medium-rare as I had ordered. The meat was tender and well fried. It was only seasoned with a little salt and pepper. The meat was nice and juicy and had a great taste of its own. The fried potatoes weren't greasy, were crispy and garnished with onions and spring onions. These also had great roasted aromas and were flavorful. The braised onions were also perfect. The pork loin was delicious too. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The price-performance ratio is also very good. I can highly recommend a visit.

So the food is really good and most of all homemade! The Schnitzel taste great (a bit oily but that is less disturbing) and the other dishes too, only to be recommended! Unfortunately, the point deduction because the service is not the hit, the restaurant itself also getting old and the toilets are really disgusting (but it is also due to the fact that many visitors go from the zoo) But we are very happy to return to the zoo visit, also because a great playground next door is for the kids.

Each ingredient is calculated at a surcharge of € 1.50. For me that was 20% of the price for the court. Questions were answered almost aggressively. Not recommendable

We are always happy to be there. Good food with a good price / performance ratio. Nice beer garden. Right next to it there is a small zoo for the children, which is financed exclusively through donations, and a playground.
